thats interesting, dont see why it wouldnt work, lots of animals respond to sound. IIRC dont whales use sound to communicate
 
Neat if it actually worked.
But seeing as the fish are "trained" this don't help us anglers much. Not that I would want my fish to just jump into my bucket anyways.
How boring would that be? :mrgreen:
 
I agree with the Skdster! That would be boring to watch fish jump into a bucket! But interesting at the same time. Fishing with bait is so much more fun...

That is very interesting! Nice find.

Very clever indeed. As a fisherman, I would like to find out what frequencies they are using, then reproduce it to bring the fish to where-ever I would be fishing that day.
 
I would like to see some sort of new soft plastic that will wiggle or something when it comes in contact with a water.
 
I read an article on ESPN about Kevin VanDame and he was using a devicethat was similar to the one mentioned in the article. Here is a link to the product he was using; http://www.biosonicsinc.com.
The article sure sounded like he used it but didn't seem to be that effective.
