I have 8 custom made fly rods that i never used . I would like to use them this year
the reels i have are Purist II and Helios 5/6 8/9 and some other reels 4/5
I used one rod last year not even sure is its setup right .
I have some fly line all ready not sure if there anygood still in the box

333 pro floating rocket taper yellow WF 7f
333 pro floating rocket taper yellow WF 8f
444 classic 10ft sinktip type -3 WF 4f/s peach/brown

no backing yet
All rods were made from RX8 blanks and one sage

i personally prefer the scientific anglers fly lines, others will swear by rio, but one is just as good as the other. as for weights, i try to go 1 wt above my rod for easier casting. floating like all pretty well do the same thing, float

as for sinking lines, depends where you're fishing, and how deep, or how fast you want your line to sink

Ya I'm a rio guy as well but sa do make good lines I'm not a huge fan of cortland but they do work what are you fishing for they a 4 wt sink tip ?
