Hi I am planning to go fishing this friday and saturday I am just wondering if any of the members can give me tips where to fish for steel head. I live in scarborough so if you guys know any place near scarborough plz fill me in thanks

This weekend is going to be difficult with the cold temperatures. Most rivers on Lake Huron were ice covered last weekend. Some of the river mouths such as the Credit or the Bronte may have open water but with forecasts for minus 9 temps mean there will be lots of ice even if you find open water. You could try the Niagara River.

Like I said in the other thread, any trib emptying out into lake ontario will have some fish heading up.

If you want to stay in Scarborough, then obviously, Rouge River would be the best bet.
You can check the mouth, or head upstream.
REMEMBER TO CHECK REGULATIONS ON WHERE YOU CAN FISH. THE NEW YEAR USUALLY COMES ALONG WITH A CHANGE IN WHERE YOU'RE ALLOWED TO FISH IN THIS TRIBS.
Don't want to see people get busted with a fine for fishing illegally when they had no idea/intention to break the law.

Grey Ghost is right. With the temps plummeting, a lot of water is going to be completely iced over. Do some leg work and find open water, or wait till a warmer day comes along that melts some of the surface ice.
