if i forgot to pull mine from the freezer and tie it, i'll buy it from gagnons, i know justin down there does his own every now and again, its $5 for 10 sacks, which depending on the action is usually enough for a couple of hours at the creeks and rivers

Ive bought roe from gagnons but ive noticed its not the greatest quality.ill try it again but shuld i use bow roe or salmon roe

personally i don't think it really matters trout or salmon roe, if they're on and biting, just about anything will work, but from my experience, trout roe is great for tying smaller bags for clear water and salmon for bigger bags, or for single egg drifting
