Go to your local shop and ask them to help you out in finding some "general" areas to start. This is only your second post on this forum so i do not think many people will give up to much info, until you contribute to the forum a little more.

Also google map or google earth are very handy tools to find "local" spots.

2 wks til zone 20- Lake O opens I think.
Have been catching lots of Bass in the G.
Hard to avoid when drifting minnows for Cats, Pike, 'eyes, Gar and Bowfin.
But fast catch and release.
Gar were hot 2 weeks ago.
