Which Digital Camera Do You Have ?

I just bought the Cannon PowerShot A570 IS. I ended up getting it for under $100, so I can't complain. :?:

I'm looking to buy a DSLR this summer. I'm thinking about getting the new Cannon EOS Rebel XSi... just waiting for the price to drop a little.

I wanted to get PowerShop A570 IS too because it is slightly smaller than A720 IS model.... and slightly cheaper too.
AND still uses AA batteries!!

I got it for just under $100 at Staples. A) It was on clearance and :?: I used a coupon that I received in the mail from a Staples credit card. ("Staples Dividends" or something like that)

Both are very nice digital cameras. If you want near-perfect / crisp images while you're out enjoying the outdoors, I would go with the the Canon SX100IS, assuming you don't mind the battery life on it; I believe it uses 2AA . For the S700, the images would be decent and the battery life of the camera is insane, it should definitely last a while even w/ flash on.
Overall, I would go with the Canon SX100IS if it ever drops in price lol. But other than that, the price of the S700 at Costco is a good price for that camera. If you don't plan to be needing a camera anytime soon, I suggest waiting a couple of weeks to see if the S700 would drop to $150-$170, or if the SX100IS would drop below the $200 mark.

What sold me was the waterproof $120 case it comes with that can take pics up to 3 feet underwater.
Also comes with rechargable batteries, 2gig sd card all for only $139!

Oh wow. Awesome find dude! Too bad its OOS! The camera itself is pretty good, but you get free accessories along with it! Damn, what a steal!

It sold out in 3 minutes, I had to call ncix to confirm that I was able to get one, then they shipped it by air and is being delivered today! wow I opted for cheap ground shipping when I ordered. I guess they really wanted to get rid of those cameras. Total cost $159!
