oh yes.. fish mutations.. yummy. might as well try out them zebra/quagga mussels; though small in size, it might pack a enormous flavour. who knows, it may become a delicacy one of these days

Anywho, back to topic -- walleye, crappie, and bass are awesome

Bass is good tasting, but not as good as walleye or Trout. Catfish can be exellent if prepared properly, like louisana style.

I am not a fish eater but I can give you guys who do eat fish a great tip.
Especially good for smallies who live near the muddy bottom....

Once you have the fillets..soak them in a bucketébowl of Cold Salt Water!
Stir them around for 2 minutes and watch the water turn brown!
It pulls all of the muddy wateré dirt out of the fillets...they taste alot cleaner!

Give it a try, youll be amazed

Bass does not have a strong fishy flavour, but stronger than trout.

I've had orange roughy and it was GOOD! but i don't think i'll be eating it often cause i was curious what kinda of fish it was and did some research on wiki. its a deep sea fish that lives over a hundred years old and stock has crashed due to overfishing.

BUT it might be worth it to try once in your lifetime :roll: .
