Which waders should I get?

Ended up picking up a pair of the Simms Blackfoots (cheapest pair XD) to try out. I tried on the next ones up (freestones) and couldn't really justify the price increase for them. They were a bit nicer feeling but I think unless you go up to the headwaters or G3's the Freestones were just a bit much for the pocket and sportier look.

Gonna go pick up some boots for them tonight and then go stomping all weekend long. I didn't even realize/think about checking the size of the stocking foot on the ones I bought but I am a 10 in normal shoe so with my thin/thick sock combo I normally wear for hiking boots hopefully the stockings aren't to big lol!

I have the Simms G4 Pro's and Guide boots with Vibram soles and I absolutely love them!!!! When I made the switch from neoprene I just couldnt stop smiling about how light they are and putting on the miles in them is effortless in comparison! Dont be a fool just buy the good stuff and enjoy the benefits....

I would have to say that Korkers are excellent wading boots. The boa cable system eliminates haveing to tie laces. Seems like no big deal until you have to cut off frozen laces after a long day fishing in freezing weather. Also, the interchangeable soles are great. I can go from having studded soles one day while wade fishing to rubber soles the next day rafting. Soles change out in seconds. In my opinion it cannot be beat. I have had my pair three seasons and couldn't be happier.
