i like spinning better overall since you can change type of fishing off bat. unless you take two rods. you get a cp, you pretty much commit to float fishing and it can either get boring, or not produce.

not true at all, you can bottom bounce, float flies and worms and roe, chuck spinners or spoons with a pin

FG based on your post...you're pretty much flexible when it comes to fishing...meaning - you go for anything else just like me. I have spinning gear (still my favorite), i have fly gear (only do this 2 weeks after opening for resis), and now have my pin (just to know what the fuzz is all about and trust my now i know!).
