Update...

We've got some great weather this Sunday for the clean up but it will be a bit cold, so dress accordingly. If you have waders bring them along. If not, bring a pair of boots, there is a lot of mud around some spots. We will meet in the parking lot for 9 am, there will be a small group of us hanging around. We will wait until 9:15 am before we split up into groups and deploy.

Im in! Have never fished this creek but always wanted to, like others have said, arrive early , fish, clean , then back to fishing! If willy is anything like where ive fished im sure everyone who comes out will go home with a few floats, flies or even some hardware found along the water, i always do when I go out Dibs on any top sections of broken float rods found, I make ice rods out of them haha! Cant wait see everyone tomorrow! If anyone wants a ride im coming from oakville, leaving around 6am

Edit: Anyone headed out there early to fish? If you see a new teal colored GMC truck (rental, someone hit mine!) dont be afraid to say hi! haha. Ill be there at first light waiting for the sun to come up and the floats to go down!!

Well ....... SKUNKED for a second time ... im still a Steel vergin ... LOL but i honestly could care less ....

i had a great time meetin new faces and throwin jokes back n forth between the guys ....

was seriously a great time gents ......

im horrible with names ... so i will say this ... i'd be happy to fish with you guys any time .... (cept when CJR is waiting to fish) LOL i swear its his drug ......

Big Shout outs to Dozer for Organizing this clean up ....I'll be glad to do that once or twice a year .....

we all need to give back to mother nature for all the fish we been catchin in the last year ...... Do our Part ..... and then we can get back to fishin lol

Total of 15 bags, plus a bunch of broken camping chairs. Hopefully it stays that way until next salmon season when all the nonsense returns.

Shout outs to O'Doyle, CJR, TRINI, DEVIN, Luke, salmotrutta ( thanks for the food and turbo charging coffee ), redneckchromer, despotiko and grubman ( in no particular order ). If I missed anyone please let me know, I'm shutting down at the moment and can't think straight. What didn't look like a lot of trash turned out to be a good number of very heavy bags.

Thanks Dozer for organizing the event and all who participated. I cannot take any credit for the clean up as I was the last to arrive after you guys did such a fantastic job. That part of Wilmot looked great, naturally clean as it should.

"Imagine we got booked for illegal dumping" that would have been the sh!ts. I'd show up to court with you guys as a witness.

Odoyle I'm with you on the names and the steel virgin. Don't worry soon buddy, we'll get ours.

Awesome meeting everyone. Hope to meet up again. Sorry I was the late one.

Nice to meet some new faces today. Heard you guys did work at the mouth, great job! It was interesting to see just how much sh!t people leave behind and how many guys like to just sit around and watch while others are cleaning up the area <_< . Good day either way, hopefully it stays the way it is now.
