X Zone Mini Slammer

Hey so I stopped by Sail yesterday night, and I picked up a package of "X Zone Mini Slammer" to try out cause I'm always into trying new baits/ lures. A guy there said he had great luck with them for smallies. Anybody else try them before? I would probably use them for dropshotting and might even try them with a jig head. They look pretty good and I bet they would mimic a goby pretty well in some of our goby infested waters.

Yeah I have had some success with them, used the watermelon colour, out in Lake Erie. Got a few decent sized smallies, and two LMB. Surprisingly when me and my buddy where at Mountsberg he actually caught a pike on one, fishing along some weed beds.

We both used them on some jig heads.

best way to use them is via drop shot. The bait scent is really strong to fish so I am not surprised with the pike's rep as a predator, that you caught one.
