ZONE 17 BASSIN

If you fish for bass in zone 17 post spawn bass can somtimes be the most fun you can have but also be hard to catch them because of the very high fishing prussure this zone undergoes. i always like to fish a smaller lake post spawn where very few people go off hyw 507. i would like to find some more SMALL lake that hold BIG BASS.

My favourite post spawn haunts are all private access in zone 18 and the land owners don't appreciate it being published so I can't help you right now.

I want to check out some public access stuff during the early season this year and I'll post some reports for everyone.

I agree with your philosophy though. One of my favourite sayings is: "if a fat man with a motorboat can't get there there's probably good fishing"...pretty much summs up why I love the backwoods sites lol.
