I agree that this year is much later than last. Even the charter boats were saying that all summer long the fish were 2 or 3 weeks behind normal rotation. Just makes this year more interesting because we will be getting salmon, steel and brown all around the same time.

Never let the eggs touch water until they are cured. Bring paper towel and a large freezer bag and cure as soon as possible. After you borax cure they will usually shrivel up and go hard. That's when they are perfectly cured. Add them to water again and they go right back to normal. I like to add sugar water.
