    Another good place is Kelso Lake just west of Milton. You can also try Heart Lake in Brampton. The only problem with these areas is that it is a conservation region and you have to pay a small fee (usually around $5 for an adult) to get in.

    Thanks Joel. Are you talking about right below the big Shand Dam where there is a small pool of water before it turns into the river? I only saw people catch Bullheads there. My original post was inquiring more about down the Grand River near the towns of Fergus and Elora, but thanks anyway.
