grand river is mud soup today! very high fast and dirty! will take a few days to come back down to normal.. seen it in Paris this morning almost as high as the dam.. im sure a few bows could make to jump over the Paris dam if the water stays this high for a day or two!!

Chinook salmon are not native fish to our lakes! they were introduced along time ago and have exploded in population. they belong in the Pacific ocean not our great lakes.( i think it would be hard from them to migrate over the rockies through the parries and in to our lakes) Atlantic salmon...

this was the first time ever seeing them for my self. i had no clue what it was at first, then i couldnt believe it, the river was loaded with them. but they love the shallow waters, very hard to drift them with out spooking them..
