4 inch of ice on a small lake near me, one more cold night and I will try the main lake for ice thinkness, by myself the other day I did not head out past waist deep water, ruffly 60 feet from shore, and there was good ice there an other 40 feet and I would of been in 8 to 10 feet of water good...

well one more cold night and I am going after perch on a small lake I know, there is 4 inch of ice 60 feet from shore, thats as far as I got cheaking myself, fell through the ice once today rabbit hunting did not want to go in again.

some lakes are open around Parry Sound, but I know one thats got 4 inch of ice on it, at least till 60 feet out and only 4 feet deep. I was by myself so I was not going deep. But 4 inch is good for Nov 30th, one more cold night and I think I will be pulling Perch out of 8inch holes :)
