How many of you don't take pics of your catches? Or how big does fish have to be for you to take a p

I just use my phone for pics, interested in a gopro though, maybe one day.

Good thing is when you have a gopro on your chest not only does it capture the whole fight but you can hold the fish infront of you for literally 2 seconds and get it back in the water, no goofing around. Also you don't need someone else to take the pic.

How many of you don't take pics of your catches? Or how big does fish have to be for you to take a p

I take pics of bass over 3lbs, catfish over 15, and salmon and trout I take a pic of most of them because they have really eluded me (and still do)

    Cheapish float rods

Lol I like the big sticks. I need to get a custom built 18'. Now that'd be a stick, I could drift down to the lake every drift.

    The Ultimate Photo Thread

After 3 fall seasons of chasing after salmon, I have finally accomplished my two goals: catch a fresh salmon from the pier and one in the river. This morning went out, started at a bigger trib and saw 1 guy lose a fish but nothing else going on, so I moved on to my regular creek. Instead of...

    The Ultimate Photo Thread

Paul, I strongly encourage you to either get a replica of a fish or just take a good picture and hang it on the wall. I take pictures on my phone and put them in albums of fish from each year, I look through them every once in a while and makes me just as happy, without taking a fish out of the...

    Sail SIMM clearance

I use a backpack for float fishing, I bought a plano box, took the trays out and I carry 2 trays, one full of beads and hooks, the other full of floats. I have a lindy rigger and put my shots in there. The backpack also acts as a front pack if you're wading and need to retie.

    Cheapish float rods

I don't know where you fish but on the west tribs I find my 12'9" rod too short.

    bowfin/dogfish?

If you go out don't expect a 20 lber lol. Mine there was 4lbs tops, probably less.

    Second bait on leader

I snell the first hook leaving about 16" tag. Then I tie on my other bait onto the tag end. Now here's the part that very few/n one else does. To keep from tangling or breaking from rubbing the hook point, I take another 5 inches of leader and tie it onto the hook shank, AROUND the dropper. So...

    bowfin/dogfish?

They give a good fight, just watch out for the teeth, they can slice you open! I've caught them in weedy ponds and shallow, slow moving creeks.

    bowfin/dogfish?

I have hooked them on worms under a float, bass cranks, and on a fly.

    My First CP, any advice?

FG, put 200 yards of dacron on that thing (orange looks pretty sick IMO) and then I'd suggest to fill it with 8lb raven mainline. I go with the clear colour (low vis) this way I don't have to run a shot line. Don't fill the reel all the way, I keep the line at least 1/4 inch from the edge of the...

Gloabal Toronto has a piece each night called consumer SOS hosted by shawn o'shay. Could shoot him a call/email, worth a shot anyway.
