Good to hear you were able to talk to them, especially for your kids sake. Everyone has different parenting skills and I do respect it. Personally, I wouldnt risk a situation like this where my 2 kids are involved in case the 2 fishermen turned hostile. Good on you for checking back!

Could not have said it any better. Few years ago it used to be a trio - my dad, his brother in law and myself. My uncle past away suddenly in 2003 took a few years for both my dad and I to wrap our heads around being back at the river without him.
