Try the Brickworks in Toronto, tons of huge sunfish and small mouth. My 4 year old and 8 year old loved it... You are allowed to fish there right off the docks.. Tons of big snapping turtles there as well. Bonus is it has a restaurant and washrooms. You won't be disappointed. Cheers, John

I posted this on the welcome forum yesterday by mistake, sorry about that. Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good lodge that rents great boats (prefer a boat without the side console). Going up between August 11 - 18. Any lodge worth staying at. And what would be biting best during this...

WD 40 like Disspatcher said. Neighbor use to clean his with sugar water, then rinse them really good again afterwards with just warm water. Don't use soap at all.

Lot's of big pike in the area and carp! Landed 3 nice pike at Hanlan's Point yesterday... Largest was 8lbs 3 oz. Very weedy in certain areas. Going up to Lake Nipissing June 19th for a week, let you all know how it is. Water is really low this year, so bring extra $$$ for props. :oops: : )
