So I took 2 of my buddies to a sweet bass pond I knew of from back in the day. Turns out my 5 lber easy story turned out nice... we smashed 3's n 4's all day til our cold shots ran out lol then we each gotta monster one by one
Never give up when the water looks like double double lol
caught this 1 and 1/3 pound slab on january 16th, love to share it with you.
forgot to measure but it was twice the length of our 8 inch hole so 16-17"
also a nice perch and bass ALL THESE FISH WERE CAUGHT NEAR HAMILTON AIRPORT IN SMALL PONDS
dont know why im posting so late but the water in nip was 4 ft down this summer and was hell on our pike spots its like i was lost without trappers creek that four feet of water where they lurked disappeared and so did they it seemed..and perch were very disappointing 6 inches was a good one...
im close to the grand river and i see guys pull out massive ones just using ball o worms n a phatty hook 15 pounders easy.. one guy got one that was atleast three and a half maybe four feet.. im not big on cats but it was huge for the grand i thought.. good luck!
uh oh.. i have eaten two small perch outta there recently from fifty point area.. thought its ok in moderation and if they dont have three eyes.. i think thats my last meal out of lake O
