Anyone know what fish lurk in 6 mile lake besides Bass, Sunfish, Bluegill, Perch, Pike, Crappie, Muskie, and Walleye. I've heard of Trout, Goldeye, and Mooneye, can anyone confirm this and tell me if there's any other fish that i didn't list.

Thanks,

There are better places but I've had some pretty good success fishing bass there last year. I would consider myself a novice at bass fishing yet it was still pretty good and one of my favourite places ! A ton of bluegill as well and I've seen some carp but I only really fish bass :)

just booked a weeks worth of fishing at 6 mile. i heard there is good walleye there..anyone confirm this? maybe point out a good spot to find them?

Never caught a Walleye there but Pike are literally infested in that lake they hit just about anything and if your targeting them you'll get tons.

its a weedy lake to say the least--swimming there is terrible-unless you hit the lake--

?? Really? I've stayed at different spots around that lake for 5 years now and have never encountered a very weedy area unless it was away from shore.

Anywhere to fish on the shore for pike? I usually do some last minute day trips to smaller areas for some shore fishing like lake Dalrymple. Pike there are great if you know how to use a swim bait!
