I use the frabill worm bedding from crappy tire. Cheap and a bale lasts forever. Plus no dirt on all your gear
^ this..
will last you long and is dirt cheap
i think its like 5$ for 2 pounds of it

I saw something great for keeping worms at SAIL, it looked like a mini keg, with a bottom compartment for storing ice cubes.

Would come in handy for those hot days when your worms can die rapidly. Just put them in the container, fill the bottom with ice, and you'll have healthy worms to use. Always better using lively, healthy worms than worms that are falling apart.

Just worming last night ... 3 dozen various sizes can wait for this wind to die down and the water temps to spike a bit
Me too Buddy. Got my fare share a few nights back

I can't wait to start a worm box.

Thanks for all the tips guys.

ps. I don't usually use worms to fish but can't go wrong with free worms
no prob... i use worms for silver bass, catfish, mullet, carp, perch, and pretty much any panfish. oh i caught a largemouth on a worm going for catfish lol. so yea worms do work there not to be discarded as useless

Look fine. What are you feeding them?
That's when I dumped them in the first time. After a couple of days they didn't look like they were moving. They also had dirt stuck on them, aren't they suppose to be dirt free when healthy? I had crushed egg shells in the dirt. I just stored a couple dozen in the fridge just now and see how they hold up till sunday.

Nope.. Very light rain but enough to make them come out and play!
Same here. What type of fishing will you be using for these worms?
