The small worms are killer for specs brows and bows. I just keep em in moist dirt in the fridge, keep a couple months. I think you can feed them wheat germ but I don't normally.

You can feed them ripped up pieces of paper towel. And I sometimes do. I try too keep most of my worm containers. especially the ones with the foam lid.

you can feed them a tiny bit of milk or cucumber, (tiny bit), paper towel is good for moisture, i usually put one near the bottom, i put all of them in a big fully styrofoam bucket with a lot of soil, then just put a dozen or so in a smaller styrofoam container when i wanna get out.

Any sage tips for getting worms? I've done the 'ol flashlight at night thing but I'm not too familiar with other methods.

Youtube has afew different ways of bring worm to the top.

A worm box is easy to make google it...

feed wise, coffie grinds, lettice I hear. Papertowel? I will have to try that.

night with a flashlight, make sure its not bright, a dim one is better,

Golf course after rain (the GREEN is killer)

Good hunting (worming)

my friend an i just put some top soil and give it "magics" worm food. and i heard to keep them in 5 - 15*c temperature. my friend puts it in the fridge lol
they went from being limp and pale to dark and strong and my friend asks me why im battling to put my worm on my hook lol

It helps to use a red light, I guess they have a harder time seeing red, whatever it is they don't seem to mind when you shine it on them. Some lights have a red setting, I just stretch a red plastic bag over my light.

good way to save money on them worms. Great for when i take the kids fishing too.. easy to catch and always produce some type of fish for them.

The flash-lite thing of course.
Another way I have used in the past is mixing dry or powdered mustard with water. Pour the mixture down their tunnels and they with pop up almost right away, this will work even in the noon day sun.

Alfie.
