Are you allowed to net a fish that is biting onto a fish that is already hooked but the fish itself

Exactly Joel, Hammercarp is trying to take a regulation that was created for another reason put his own interpretation on it and then apply it to a different scenario that is rare enough that there isnt a real need to make a regulation about it or even discuss it. This is a completely opinionated argument that probably cant go anywhere ie. you can argue that the hook is in the mouth of the fish as the fish swallowed both fish and hook , i'm not saying that my argument but you get the point....Kind of a juvenile discussion.

No I did not and the regulation as stated applies directly to this situation. It says that the fish must be hooked in the mouth. The fish in question was not. Pretty straight forward and simple. No need for your interpretation of my interpretation. You really need to understand what you are reading without putting your spin on it.
