Thanks for reminding everyone Rybak. If any one on this forum think they know the rules very well. then can any one tell me where is closed for trout fishing that is also stocked with fish as of this time of the year???rybak said:I don't know where the OP fished, but most seasonal closures for trout take effect on October 1st, with exceptions in specific places of course.
ok. well can u tell me if any of the Credit river tributaries are closed for fishing at this time of the year????DILLIGAF?! said:I don't know which area you are fishing but just letting you know that most zones have Atlantic Salmon close - all year -.
this is probably the most retarded jump to conclusion ive ever seen on this website.. lolDILLIGAF?! said:hope you don't fish for suckers where trout fishing is close for the season....
I have made a new post of the same stretch of water that the atlantics are stocked in, with brookies and browns i took out from there today.Shmogley said:hey just a suggestion NaturehasIT. let them little guys grow in peace and find a spot with less atlantics and more brookies. if all you are catching is atlantics all day you should really consider changing locations. theres plenty of spots with brooks where you wont get so many lanties.. just gotta do some legwork. also a lot of these areas have regulations on live bait so be sure to keep up to date on that. wouldnt want anything bad to happen.
they sure can be feisty though, specially the ones over 10 inches.
and the comparison to creek chub is spot on. they will literally shred anything that hits the water almost instantly. with the same acrobatic leaps common to chubb rising.
it would be great if these fish made a come back because they sure got some promising character to them
this is probably the most retarded jump to conclusion ive ever seen on this website.. lol
you think youve seen it all then some gem like this pops up
Is any part of the upper Credit watershed closed for fishing now?? IF yes please advise. IF no, well this is the place i am fishing.DILLIGAF?! said:hope you don't fish for suckers where trout fishing is close for the season....

well you just one upped me for jumping to conclusion....where in the part of my statement concluded? the excuse nature gave was the same excuse every "sucker angler" give when fishing a close area.Shmogley said:this is probably the most retarded jump to conclusion ive ever seen on this website.. lol

i'm not saying there's a close section this time of year. But when trout season closes, the excuse every "sucker angler" gives when fishing a close area for trout has the same tune....NaturehasIT said:ok. well can u tell me if any of the Credit river tributaries are closed for fishing at this time of the year????
It is still open, but the Upper C is artificial, single barbless hook fishing only which means that you should not,be throwing a spinner unless you changed the hook to a single barbless hook and absolutely NO LIVE BAITNaturehasIT said:Is any part of the upper Credit watershed closed for fishing now?? Sorry bud but u still dont know certain areas on the credit watershed. I have maps and locations of every single creek that originates from the main credit river in every single village and town upstream. Where i was fishing its still part of the fishing areas like regular trout season places. here it is to remind everyone. chk it yourself and correct me if i am wrong.JDean said:It is still open, but the Upper C is artificial, single barbless hook fishing only which means that you should not,be throwing a spinner unless you changed the hook to a single barbless hook and absolutely NO LIVE BAIT
Also, the Atlantics will descend the river to the lake when they surpass the smelt stage. The dams are nothing for them to go over. They are not landlocked at the stocking locations.
I know this but didnt want to tell the guy. he is a local. i suppose he knows the rules.Catfish said:Okay well the guy that took home his 14" atlantic for dinner could be charged, have you ever bothered to check the regs?? ATLANTIC SALMON FISHING CLOSED-ALL YEAR-ZONE 16. Also, when steelhead run, they jump dams, and then in the spring they ride them down again. Atlantics can do that too.
sorry to dissapoint u bud but if u should go there and look at the wall there, it is impossible for the fishes to jump up or down that wall unless they cut the wall to allow them through. naturally they cant jump a 10' wall when the water most time of the year is below 2feet. seeing is believing. trust me.JDean said:It is still open, but the Upper C is artificial, single barbless hook fishing only which means that you should not,be throwing a spinner unless you changed the hook to a single barbless hook and absolutely NO LIVE BAIT

unfortunately the steelhead in this portion of the creek cant jump the dams. they are manually delivered to these areas.Catfish said:Okay well the guy that took home his 14" atlantic for dinner could be charged, have you ever bothered to check the regs?? Thanks tcp. last year i posted up pics of a few browns and i got the same retarded comments and accusations from some of these guys on the forum. I just asked the admin to take down the post. looks like i will have to do the same and stop posting all together. i even talked to another well experienced member on the forum and he stopped commenting and stop giving people advises here because most of the guys here think they know it all and they have seen it all. Instead of them talk good and encourage fishing they criticize and blame assuming the wrong thing was done or the wrong place was fished. no one tend to believe u when u tell them the truth. These so called fisherman who thinks they know, they only spend a few hours on the river per week. i spend entire day on the river. starting sun up until sundown every week. countless hours, countless kms walked, countless bush wacking, countless fish. and counless places discovered.tcp said:You guys are vultures this time of year, it's a wonder anyone bothers to post reports, Wow. Congrats naturehasit on your hard work that paid off, and nice fish in the other thread
