have been living a DIM( drywall installation master) life the past couple weeks but have got out to enjoy some really hot spring panfishing found a new lake with only jumbo perch and HUGE golden shiners as well as catching this biggun a 3 minute walk from my apartment. cant wait to get out a jig some post spawn walleye in the coming weeks.

Definitly a nice Crappie ....fish on...

Considering the little ones will hit baits/offers almost 1/2 - 3/4 their size....

That HOG must of hit a Muskie Bait?

I saw the title "2 pound crappie" and knew it was GBD even before I saw the name...
Nice one brother!!

get some big rockbass jigging too, power minnows and the like are such versatile baits. i always have two jig rods set up with different weight, usually a jig on my floatrod too i really like jigs

How did you tell it was GBD?

Well, you got your "Man Tracker" and then you've got your "Crappie Hunter"--both proper terms specific to their celebrity.
GBD loves Crappie (always posts his outings to keep us chrome hysterics from neglecting other opportunities...

) and is the "Crappie Hunter."

What is "chrome" in terms of fishing? I always thought of Harley's and here chrome plated wheels/gas tanks. Thanks.

i dont hit the creeks as hard in spring as the fall

"chromes" are big migratory rainbow trout that come in as big and silver as a chrome bumper. panflippers are smaller steelhead that generally hold their colour and quality much longer once in the river

my god.... is that a BLACK crappie??? I'd like to see the WHITES that come out of that lake!!!!!! Ontario line record?
