Board may be down for up to 24 hours

Just letting you guys know that the board may go down unexpectedly at some point in the next day or so while I upgrade the server to accommodate a new forum software installation. If this happens, the board may be down for minutes, or it may be down for up to 24 hours.

Just a quick update - The server upgrade went without a hitch. The dangerous part is over, whew.

The new OFF is now installed on a test board and several bugs are being worked out as we speak. When the actual switch occurs, all usernames, passwords, posts etc should be intact, so the switch should be relatively painless for users.

After the initial switch to the new board, a few new features will be in place, but the major features will still be in development and will be phased in over time.

I guess I can unsticky this post as I no longer foresee the board going down.
