lol, ya to any guy out their that has been sent on the run to go get tampon's, or w/e else women product related I can understand you dont want to have to endure something like that again. I took the wife into the dollarama with me and she was embarrassed to be at the same cash duringcheck out because she said only ghetto people wear anything from the dollar store, lol.
I didnt care at least the cashier didnt think i was going to be wearing them. Let me know how your trips to the stores go boy's,lol
And Mikey Mikey, unless you have huge squares of the row bags it wont work. I find for carp you need a good toonie size ball of w/e your using to get them, and i cant get a good size chunk of carp funk in one of them.
Good luck to all,lol
Chris

I have been there.. Done that.. Bags of pads.. Many times. No big deal anymore. Just gotta remember its the blue bag with yellow trim.

As for the bargain shop, or GT boutique.. Ive been doing that for years. Some of the stuff aint half bad!

I agree, I have found some awesome stuff in the crappy little bargain stores. I also have a dollarama that sells the red wolf leaders that are 12 inches long and black a 4 pack for $1! I grab 5/6 everytime im their, can never have to many leaders.
I saw a guy catch a walleye on one of their really crappy stick baits, it was like a crap knock off of a pikey minnow.
Crazy......

esign, lol I didnt think i would tell anyone, cause then I wont have a big stash when i need them. No worries, its in Burlington ON, Brant street close to the lake, its in a plaza with no frills/blockbuster tucked away in the corner beside a pizza shop.

Hey Frozenfire, if they ask you what the pantihose is for, them it's for a bank job, because their more likely to believe that than for carp fishing. :)

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
this reminds me of a story
ya know how they have those panty hose type of socks for some shoe stores? for customers who come in wearing sandals or flip flops or what have you, shoes that require no socks?
well we were in one (timberland) and frozenfire's friends told him to put one over his head and go up the cashier to freak them out!
he didn't do it of course d=

but yea
whenever i buy 'feminine' types of products, i always feel awkward when the person cashing me out is a young male... haha

lol, When the wife and I first started trying to find out if she was prego, I went to shoppers and asked for the best test for early pregnancy, the pharmacist showed me one and said this will do. Then I remembered a commercial about a kit and it says "The most >>>>>>you will ever pee on" Iforget whether it was expensive or w/e but i decided I was going to buy a variety of test, and when I got to the counter I had 7 different boxes of pregnancy tests, lol and some were 2 kits in one. The looks i got at the counter were priceless, I just looked at them and said You can never be too safe right? the female at the cash replied, wow you sure are thurough! lol I thought it would be better not to tell them it was for my wife and we were excited to see,lol and let them go about thinking W/E they were, and judging from the lokos I can tell it was'nt good, lol.

Guys, you can avoid looking like a donkey in the cash line up..just go buy "Scafing". Same as roe bag material, just big like a scarf. All differnt colours too. OR you can buy cheap ladies scarfs..same thing, just make a birthday gift for your mom!

hmmm, were do u perchase this stuff? at an old lady clothing store or something?
Let me know, at least if the person behind the till was over 50 then they would belive it was a present for your mother, lol.

Lotsa good info there, thanks everyone, I am going to also try for some of those carp, when nothin else is biting, I saw dozens last week on the island, along with some bass, and pike. Nothing biting though, so I will bring some bread with me next time. Thanks

I stoped by a place here in burlington were the arp are plentiful and everyone fishing them was having great luck on cornmeal.
1cup of cornmeal, and one cup of water, boil then let cool and work into a ball, seperate small dime size balls and if you want them to stay together really good and not come off the hook boil them again after having them in the sizes you want. You can add sugar if u want, someguys use a jello packet or even vanilla extract. But them guys i was talking to were using straight cornmeal.
Easy to make costs about $3 a bag and one bag will last you a long, long time.
Chris

Bread can be used for Carp I would add a bit of water form it also adding scent such as Vanilla or Anise extract will increase your chances as Carp have a good sense of smell which they use to locate food. Another bait you can easily make is to make dough using flower couple of eggs and a bit of water and you can add scent to that as well. Just have to play around with the amount of flower so you get the right consistency . I would suggest wrapping the created bait in plastic wrap to prevent it from drying and also keep it out of the sun.
