I'm going to try it pretty much because I haven;t fly fished in forever but I think I wouldn't fair badly.

Unless your name is Remy....LMAO!!!!!Liger said:you can get anything on a fly rod. Crappie included. I got acouple last year on a purple leech. fun fun
Add me to that too, I've caught more branches than fish and lost more flies to trees than fish..... I'm still learning :lol:ChaseChrome said:Unless your name is Remy....LMAO!!!!!
Nice fish! What fly is that? Looks like it could be used on a spinning set up...NADO said:Here's a pic from my less than spectacular outing last Thursday. High winds and dense cover around the pond made for very difficult fly fishing. A spinning setup would have been much more effective in this case but the fly was still fun for the novelty side of things.
First fish on the Fisheads fly rod!
Thanks, I'll give it a shot.NADO said:Its actually a jig, I hammered crappie through the ice on that jig this winter so I figured it would work. I dont have many flies after losing my box full of flies so I just grabbed whatever I could find in the garage.
For 40 bucks its a pretty nice looking fly rod, wooden reel seat and all.
