I personally don't keep anything I catch. I love fish and eat it all the time, but I feel that most bodies of water I fish are too polluted to risk eating any fish caught from them.

I do eat the occasional small Walleye and rarley do I go for Wallies. Any thing else goes back in.

When I target crappies and walleye, I will keep a few to eat. Otherwise, they all go back in.
My family loves to eat bass, but I haven't kept one that I've personally caught in years.

Same here, I used to always HATE the smell of fish from when I was a kid, mind you tho, my mom is japanese and eats fish all the time, its something about that stinky raw fish smell, that always turned me off when I was younger. And especially tuna & salmon, never really had much a liking for, still don't :D Its funny tho, about 5 years ago when I got back into fishing, I was watching shows like Canadian Sport Fishing & Going Fishing w/ Chronzy, seeing all those fried pickeral shore lunches finally got to me !! :D The only fish I'll eat now is pickeral, perch, and once a blue moon a rainbow trout (not the bigger steelhead) they taste better in my opinion.

ya i want to try trout just because i was told there was alot in bowmanville, so thats most likely what i'll be catching.... would be kinda cool to be able to bring home a fish and cook it up for dinner

Openfire doesn't like to eat fish from Lake Ontario but like to give Lake Ontario fish to his in-laws. (Why? )

Well, I have not caught anything by myself SO FAR so umm, the answer would be no or not applicable?

I've eaten fish from Bowmanville and Orono creek. Their pretty good except for the after taste that doesn't go away for four days! j/k But I agree I won't eat fish from lake Ontario. I know they all basically come from lake Ontario but i don't want to think about it! lol

I'm CPR, but every once in a while I'll try it if someone else is with me that wants to keep and cook theirs.
