My Grandpa and I decided to do some Brampton fishing this morning and this is what happened.

First cast with the Jitterbug that I found on a recent fishing trip was EPIC.

Cast...JITTER...JITTER...JITTER...JITTER...JITTER...JITTER...SMACK!!!!

This guy was huge and fat.

I was so scared that I was gonna lose the fish that I reached down to get a hold of its mouth.

BAD IDEA...his head started to shake while my thumb was in its mouth. The barbed hooks sunk in my thumb.
I had so many things going through my head on what just happened. Luckily my adrenaline was pumping that I just pulled the hooks out like it was nothing. Easy breeezy with blood dripping out of my left thumb (reminds me I need a first aid kit in my gear).

From the looks of it, how many pounds would you say it is?

I forgot to measure and weigh it before I let it recover and released it back.

This fatty is the biggest bass Ive ever caught.

Im totally noob and im addicted to fishing.

Bloody Hell Mate.... Thanks for sharing!

Thanks guys.

That big bass was the only highlight of the summer for me.

The last bass I caught was this guy and it was a fluke.
I wanted to try my Ratltrap in the water so i swam it right in front of me and I got a hit.

You will not regret it, definately a must purchase. I regret not buying one sooner. I only started weighing big bass a couple years ago.
The only problem I find with the scale is having the fish out of water before you can pull out the scale. Im usually C&R and actually my grandfather had one but I was more concerned about releasing it unharmed. My grandfather wanted to keep it but I let it go pretending I didnt hear him..haha.
Maybe I can get a scale that has the fish grips so its a multipurpose tool.
