It can be done, like many said watch and learn. I got lots this year in the east tribs and was fishing pools I couldn't see fish in as the water clarity didn't allow it. Also fished 6-8 foot pools with clear water and still hooked up in the mouth. Did get some snags but pulled them out or snapped line. You will go through a lot of takle and line, running 6-8lbs test is a whole other ball game than whats used for snagging.
