For some reason I am unable to vote at the moment. I am noticing a total lack of respect for Brookies/Specks in the results tho. I would assume that is because any spots in S. On that hold them are top secret. And that most haven't got to northern On. Que and NL. to fish for this great fish. A 5 lb Brookie fights as hard as a 5 lb Chrome, but fights smarter, a Speck will always use the current to it's advantage, Chrome not so much.
My list after Specks. Chrome, Pinks, Smallies, Gar, Channel Cats, Carp, Browns, Pike and Bowfin, not necessarily in that order.

This is so true. Bigger brookies fight very hard. They're my second favorite after browns.

Browns are high on my list too CJR. I'm partial to Brookies as that is what my father brought me up fishing, both in southern and northern Ont.
What a shame they have almost disappeared from the south. They are still around in some spots but no one is telling ;)

Since I'm a rookie and caught only a couple of decent steelhead, I have to go with hooking into 4 1/2 lb smallies on light gear & worms or 1" crayfish with the sun setting on the lake. Awesome! A big bass hooks the kids for life too.

Voted steel, but right after I voted I thought...darn I shoulda voted for fresh Coho's! Fresh Coho's fight even harder and faster than steelhead.

I'm pretty sure you can delete your vote and re-vote.

Not a bad call Nado. I used to get lots of Coho's when they were originally stocked in Lake O and they are a lot of fun. Is there any place that still gets a run here in Ont? I don't go out much during the Chinnie Salmon run, by choice, for a number of reasons. But that's a whole different topic.
