Ignore the hate man, I did the same thing when I came on here...for many people who haven't experienced fishing the congested GTA waters talking about your spots is as natural as talking about your tackle.

Not that I don't sympathize with the GTA crowd, from what I've heard on this site you guys have to put up with a lot of nonsense on the water...but I think it's good to understand that not everyone is going to have had that experience and they probably don't mean any harm when they ask for tips on where to go.

Some people want to be the only guy on the water every day, and that's cool...I'm not going to **** on them for their preference. At the same time it would be nice if people could realize that, for some, helping others grow their appreciation for fishing and conservation is just as satisfying as hooking in to a trophy.

Cityboy, or anyone else, I'm no expert but if you want tips on bass fishing send me a pm or start a topic I'll be more than happy to help.

Welcome to the forum cityboy. And hope you enjoy fishing the GTA. We were all noobs once. Lot's of good tips here but I would suggest regarding spots to do some digging around the forums. lots of information you can learn without ticking someone on her period. If you want further tips, send the pm. Check the regulations...Trout is hot right now but don't forget...Pike is still open and you have a short window to target them. They're sluggish right now but still a joy to hook one up. Regarding lures...google is your friend. Any type of lure will work. It's how you use them. Go out there...share your experience...take your personal notes...and will be looking forward to hear from some reports.
tight lines.
