Floating Line

stick with mono for you main line (or some other alternative) Use Fluoro for leader material.

Currently, my reel (Symetre 3000FJ) is spooled with PowerPro 20lb braid line. Could I use this Braid instead of Mono, with a say...10lb Drennan flouro as leader?

And what type/size swivels, split shots and hooks go with this sort of setup?

An important thing to remember is that mono floats and floro sinks.
