Bass pro $50 dollar gift card, after treating myself earlier in the fall to the Islander and Raven RV9 thought I'd better take it easy for a while. Need a nice wading jacket though, would like to get a decent fly setup next. So many wants and needs so little money

For both it depends how much you wanna spend redington has good combos what do you plan to fish for as for wading jacket look at ll bean that's where I got mine it was like 80 bucks works well just time for me to upgrade in to gortex

EXACTLY!!!!!

I got my wading jacket from LL Bean as well. It cost about 100 shipped to my door and I have zero complaints thus far.

Ya it's a great jacket but it's alittle warm for summer wear so thats why I am going with Simms for the gortex other then I'm a Simms junky

I already have a cheap Martin 7/8 combo, trying to decide if a 4 or 5 for all round would be good for smaller flows, something nice and light.Like to try for some specks Maybe later a nice steelhead/salmon setup in a 7 or 8. There are so many different rods now switch, spey, nymph.I used to head out with my 7' fenwick spinner and was quite happy. Everything is specialized but the fish don't know the difference. Like the looks of the St. Croix, Orvis has some nice combos too. Simms has nice stuff.

Your right they don't if you want some advise go with a 6 wt it's a great all purpose rod you can use it for steelhead and for the summer resi trout it's a great wt to learn on to cast those light flies that's what I learned on and yes Simms does have nice stuff my addiction is a bit out of control and it's going to get worse as they should be releasing the 2013 line Any day now hope that helps if you have any more questions feel free to ask

Fishing related, got some cash to put towards a camera to capture some fishing and portaging action on film!

I'm thinking of the gopro hero 3 black ed. I have no experience with cameras of any kind so if you have any advice feel free to pass it on!

Some lures, a bushnell x-8 trail cam and an iPad that I'm writing this with
Sweet. I do all my OFF stuff on my iPad 2. It works great, and there's nothing i cant do on here where i could do on a computer except the GTA ponds maps. But i dont live near toronta anyway.

I got an 18ft interline rod for specific venues where I need extreme distance with a feeder rig.
