I wish I had a picture of this spot. I've been keeping this place a secret for a while now. There is a small bridge with a stream just by a marina. I passed by yesterday on my way back from Barrie to check it out (too bad I didn't have my rod), last year they replaced the bridge so it was closed off but this year it's finished. Now they have made it so you can walk under the bridge and throw casts. But from the bridge it's difficult to cast from now that the bridge is closer to power lines, the other side is fine to cast from, although you might want to bring a milk crate to stand on because the railing is high. This place has everything and then some. From what me and my buddies have caught, Sunfish, rockbass, large & smallmouth bass, pike, catfish, perch, a snapping turtle (viscous bastard). A couple of kids were there and I asked if they caught anything and they said a couple rockbass. Now there isn't a lot of space to fish from due to being surrounded by private property, and being polite is key because its right next to a park for children and it's in a small community, but trust me it's a great spot. I'll be sure to post some pics the first time I fish there, probably this weekend coming up. Anyways basic driving directions; Exit at the cookstown outlet mall (89) east and follow it to the end, the small town of Guilford. There will be a small bridge, and just over the bridge you can park on the first street to the right. careful driving as there are children everywhere.

Re: Guilford Stream

good luck, however i dont see a point fishing rain drainage when one of the most popular lakes is right behind you.

I am pretty sure i know about this spot, new bridge makes it very uncomfortable to fish though, otherwise it is a great spot for perch, I saw people catching hundreds & hundreds of perch there ,
