Glow crankbaits

I have some big jointed crankbaits and since I have a lot more confidence in them than spoons I was wondering if anyone has tried one of the clear glow paints on them? I think they would work really well for salmon off the piers, thoughts?

Yeah definitely. I got a few on a glow in the dark J-13 that I painted at home, but I've also had some luck at night with regular J-13's so I don't know how much difference the glow really made. I think it's something worth experimenting with.

The glow in the dark factor doesn't make that big of a difference. The noise factor is a trigger for the fish more so.

sure but try and find the glow in the dark paint. Up in Muskoka I can not find it anywhere, I wanted some for my lures the last 3 years and all I can find is waterbased glow in the dark nail paul-ish (SP)

i found some glow in the dark paint at walmart under 10 bucks.
