Hi i se you used different baits but , you didnt use the very simple one worms . it is impossible not to catch fish in Heart Lake i always catch at least 6-8 or up to 12 sometimes
Hello to all fishing brothers and sisters!
Thats my second year in Toronto and I'm trying to find a descent spot for fishing(catch and realease only, I just like the fun) but no luck except a couple of fish.
Last summer I tried Musselman's Lake and i cougth only a small bass,
Centre Island nothing, High Park nothing,
Claireville Conservation Area two Carp,
Proffesor's Lake nothing, Aquitaine Lake nothing, Old Mill nothing.
This year I tried Proffesor's Lake and Aquitaine Lake and again no luck!
Today i went to Heart Lake considering that i can rent a small boat but guess what...is was closed so i tried from shore NOTHING not even a bite!
I'm using Spinnerbaits, Soft Baits and Hard Baits and I'm thinking of quitting, I'm so disappointed guys... <_<
Any advice will be more than welcome!
P.S. Forgive my english
I also believe fishing at current time do help with the rate of fish being caught. And for shore fishing even the more since you can go out and look for the fish itself. Early morning when fish are in the shallows for feeding, but remember not to get to close to the shoreline, since fish spook easily. Since this happened to be on a good size largemouth. I went down to a spot to check if there where fish and I could see this bass dart away as soon as it saw my shadow and I just stood there kicking my self.
