GTA trouts...skunked

Got a nice info from a friend about a spot he swore only a few people knows...when I got there....the few people he mentioned were all there LoL. Packed up and went closer to the mouth. I got a nice spot although there are a number of anglers there as well. saw 2 nice size browns swimming back and forth not biting bloodshot eggs i rigged (with pautzke sauce). Tossed a black fury and hooked right away only to lose my lure in less than a minute. Rigged another black fury and here comes another brown...which fought to the death and took my lure to it's deathbed. Yeah...skunked. The guy beside me landed 3 steelhead right after...using skein.

Amen to that!, If my line just held up a little longer and got those fish close up so I can say hi...it would've been cool. Will keep hitting the spots I know that holds them and will continue to give reports...skunked or not.

I think it was accepted that the Saugeen River can support lots of fishing. The GTA tribs are a different story. I've honestly never seen so many people attempting to catch a steelhead in November. I think the sport has been promoted enough. Quit mentioning spots!

Geen is known by ALL anglers, those threads came BEFORE the new rules AND it was for the big forum meetup so its kind of necessary that people need to know where to go.....

Not sure this is necessary and there IS a distinction to be made, though minor.
