Rookies are doing well. I'm loving what I've seen in the past 2 games. Hope they will develop and mature in the next few years.

As impressive as Marner has been, he can use a few more pounds. He gets pushed off the puck or pushed onto the ice quite frequently. He'll be even more effective if he can hold onto the puck better and create more plays...and that would be scary.

Still too early to plan the parade route...but it makes hockey exciting to watch again.

had a customer telling me about his sports travels the other day, at 15, he went and saw the washington senators play, baseball team, he still has the ticket stubs from 1951, he paid $4 them. he went to the 72 series in moscow, still has his 4 ticket stubs, paid $650, and that included the games, hotel, flight there and back.

$650 now, gets you 3 leafs tickets......

The Torauston Matthews Leafs show much promise. When you get an elite level player like their soon to be minted Capitano, he not only does wonders himself, he makes his teammates better by osmosis.

@Salmo So true. These star players seem to bring everyone around them up a knotch skill wise also.
