Here's a lil pic of what it looked like before it got crazy crowded. Was about an hour after this pic and 3 (4 to 5 line tangles) cause by the same person. That we left.

Are you kidding me?

seriously got worse than this.. lol throw in the lady that just didn't under stand why people were getting mad at her when she casted acrossed 4- 6 lines and tangled them all up. Was madness!!

That is why I stick to more serious tournaments. Less people that never heard of the regs and people that actually know what they're doing, not casting over people and randomly casting.

I think the fact that they give away fishing rods should clue you in that you're not going to be dealing with experienced anglers. Also there were five other locations and boats were allowed too. But the accent is really on the kids and less astute anglers.

They were nice fishing rods that they gave away to. Way nicer than what i was expecting. Was a fun day I had fun watching the kids and watching my brother trying to remain calm...lol I got a kick out of seeing how people just don't have no clue sometimes. I would of gone to an other location but my brother and my nephews were already set up there and didn't want to budge. By the time my brother convinced the kids to try an other spot he was too frustrated to deal with any people.. so i went to a near by pond for some guaranteed fish away from every one. Kids got nice rods and i got to see my brother loose his mind.... haha was FUN!!

man im hearing alot about these great free rods, whishin i went to get one lol, did anyone take a pic by any chance lol

If the RBG continues on the same path, that is all that will be left. .
I don't know if it is the RBG, but I think it is. We were at Valley Inn Rd, a place I haven't been for 2 years. I used to walk up the shore in the spring time and catch Channel Cats and Carp. Last week end when I got there the trail was covered in lots of brush, I thought I would have to bush-whack. After I "bush-whacked" for 20 ft the trail was clear. I looked back and noticed that all the brush covering the start of the trail had been cut with saws, it was not deadfall. It really looks like it was cut and placed there. I have heard the RBG doesn't really want anglers there, maybe that is the case, but what harm am I doing. I like to get out and sit beside the water for a few hours, practice catch and release and carry out more garbage than I carried in. And to top it off I was feeding the Turtles that are so precious to them judging by their signs  .

Yup Definitey them. That guy Thysmeyer thinks he is the lord of creation. They use your tax dollars to exclude you from fishing there.Nice scam. Sorry for taking this off topic.I won't say anymore on this..

Thanks for posting the results hammer. How many cm in an inch  . Just kidding.
I'm surprised at the others category, would have thought someone would have landed a Sheephead bigger than 27 cm. Also the biggest Cat seems very small in my experience around the harbor, but who am I to say shitte, as I only played with Turtles that day.
My biggest turtle was about 20 cm but it let go of the bait before I was able to land it  not big enuff to be a winner in any of the categories anywho.

Not sure who Thysmeyer is but if he has anything to do with the RBG perhaps he should thank me for filling a bag with trash and carrying it out and placing it in one of the garbage cans by the trail.
