Usually I am pretty good about being disciplined and not binge buying. I mean how many rods and reel combos do you need LOL? Unless you are a professional Angler on the circuit in which case you need different rods for different applications etc.

Worst fishing store in the GTA, Al flaherties. Walking around one day and there litteraly spyin on me from the next isle over I walk over here they walk over here. Holly frig mate, You really think I'm gunna stead a few dollars worth of gear!
Common please! I've baught rods and reels tons of gear off them over the years. So why they followed me around like a thief I do not know but I havent gone back and that was last year at some point.
They lost a custi after that and I've heard of a few cases like this.

Maybe they had reasons to behave like they did perhaps they had gear stolen from the store but if you say you were a steady customer of theirs then they should give you some breathing room for sure maybe the did not remember you.

Buddy I aint no Kid, I don't dress like a little punk with pants half way down my ass, I have plenty of coin and I'm not a thief!
Maybe they did have stuff stolen from them but isnt that something ever store deals with.
YES I was a regualar not every day/week but it's the closest store so I went there often.
I just don't think following a custi around like they were is appropriate espesially if your after repeat business!
From My personal experiences I've found fisherman to be some of the more Honest and helpful people around.
Can anyone honestly say that when your chasing your fish up river you worry about leaving your box a few yards down river with fisherman you just meet that day?
I don't never had anyone steal my gear so thats what makes me TRUST most fisherman!
Just my thought!

It is true what Yawn is saying I never really thought about it but Fishermen are nice people there is a few that will not let you in on their secret etc LOL but for the most part fishermen/women are very helpful and willing to share any tips etc. I too never had any tackle equipment stolen by a fellow fisherman.

It just reminded me of that incident that happened last fall? I think it was? at Bronte Pier where that man had a heart attack or something and fell in the water?
