I've been at the Drags and had cars hook either direction
and come right at you along the rail...
it sure grabs your attention quick
racing is what it is, drivers pushing it to the edge and stuff happens....
hope all are well
I was at the Enduro Nationals @ Delaware Speedway years back and a tire came off the track into the stands
My first concern were the kids playing in the grass down by the end of the track...
tire bounced twice and missed everyone, darn lucky, it came off a chev and had the axle with it!!
and come right at you along the rail...

exactly, no matter what kind of racing this stuff is bound to happen its not NASCARS fault this stuff happens in F1, indy drag and rally. when the person got hit in the head with a puck at the NHL game nobody blamed the nhl accidents happen. I hope everyone is alright, one of the two people critically injured is a child :cry:

nobody likes a crash like that, not even us "north of 9" rednecks :roll: a little pushing and shoving on the home stretch is good tho! open wheel you touch and you basically done, usually wrecked by some rookie or danika. lucky it was nationwide and not cup, or way there would have been a far worse situation. luckily no-one was killed.

haha yea its amazing how quickly they can fix all that but then again if they had to postpone the race today they would be out alot of money so they almost have no choice. lets hope for some good injury free (but not crash free ) racing today with 88 taking the checkered! :mrgreen:
