Apparently this is the last week .. i stocked up as soon as they lady told me they are going to be gone ..

cant beat the price lol

What do you mean they will be gone? Pls elaborate, they will be gone b/c of poor sales and not replaced, gone b/c summer is over and sent to the stock room till next spring, gone b/c the manufactuer's price has gone up lowering Dollarama's profit margin.....etc.

Can you be more specific. Thanks.

Ok thanks. They do move their stock around frequently/seasonally/holiday related items too. Guess I'll hit the one near me for a few big spoons for salmon.

Thanks for the info.

*whew!* ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok.... (hears collective sigh of relief from Fruglers province-wide)

:D

with the new $3.00 policy items, sure they will manage to put a $3.00 Ice fishing rod and jigs for Winter season

i noticed many of the dolleramas are getting rid of the fishing section!

yikes... on the side note.. i went to buffalo on the weekend.. their walmart supercentres have a large fishing section.

I picked up couple of packages of YUM! dingers (senko imitations) for 1.50 a package! if anyone has a chance to go to the states, their prices are cheaper than ours for fishing lures thats for sure.

also picked up a lucky strike "bleeding" spinner bait ... 2 dollars clearance..... later saw it on the shelf for 5 dollars there...they also have their own spinner bait with no packaging for 99 cents... all different colors.

also, 5.99 gulp alive worms vs. ours is about 7.99 in Toronto here. But for some reason the gary yamamotos are about the same price... they never drop.

I like the YUM dingers a lot. I find that they have a very similar action in the water to Gary Yamamoto's senkos, and there a fraction of the price!

That's it I'm heading out to the $rama and CT. CT had some fishing stuff on clearance. I picked up Berkley's Gulp Mini worms in natural for $3.13, 42 worms per bottle. See the reviews on BP and I've have great catches with them.

See you guys at the $rama........lol.

The Gulp Minnows? Depends on how you're fishing, if you're in a boat trolling I'd use a 3/8 oz ball jig to get it down fast and stay near the bottom, if from shore I'd use a #4 siwash type hook and 12-16 inches up pinch on a couple of split shots vary the retreive, slow and fast, find what works. Put on a swivel below the split shot to prevent line twist. Same method with these Mini-Worms.

Good luck, where you usually fish?
