Hey Guys,

Managed to get out one last time yesterday morning to find it rather impossible to fish effectively. Everything freezes up instantly.
Nevertheless, I stayed out on the river from 8 - 2 and managed to catch two bigger bows in the 8 - 10lb range later on in the day.
Using roe wasnt an option as it froze as soon as it hit the water. Also flowing ice ruined your drifts and often prevented your offering to even sink.
Really enjoyed my first steelhead season with memorable momments and some great fish. Love my experience on this forum and the members of the board, very helpful sharing and generous people.
Cant wait till march to get back out there.Till then, my centerpin can go on strike,

LOL well if I get carried away and walk 4+ hours upstream Im in for a long day walkin back down, Ill do anything for the smallest of bows just to not get skunked :D

If the days warm up, would everything freezing minimize or the water temps still getcha?
