THIS MARKHAM BASS IS MY CURRENT LENGTH RECORD 11 INCHES. OF COURSE THERE ARE LARGER FISH. I'VE SEEN 2-3 LB BASS JUMP IN EVERY POND, EVEN TOO GOOD POND.

TOO GOOD POND FISH - YES THERE ARE FISH. DISCOVER THE LOCATIONS AND TIMING AND YOU WILL CATCH FISH. DONT' EAT THE FISH BECAUSE THE WATER IS BROWN. THE WATER IS PERFECT FOR WALLEYE BUT THERE ARE NO WALLEYES IN MARKHAM. BUT THERE ARE LAKE ONTARIO TROUTS IN TOO GOOD POND.. THEY ARE DIFFICULT TO CATCH BECAUSE THE WATER IS SO LARGE. I CAUGHT A 27 INCH ONE WITH A RED STICKER TAG ON ITS DORSAL FIN. NO PHOTO BECAUSE IT WAS OUT OF SEASON, BUT WITNESSED.

I just want some respect and acknowledgement for contributing to the Markham Ponds Project. For some reason I login in and my rating is 3 out of 5 stars... for absolutely no reason. If this happened on Ebay I would slam you. but thank god it's not EBay.

Again, most of these ponds are storm water ponds, which means they are used to filtered junk at the bottom of the ponds, and then the clean water is released in the river so thus fish will swim in and out of the ponds. The fish are not clean to eat especially if they are bottom feeding fish. I suggest catch and release with a picture. If everyone does this and do not eat the fish, we may perhaps will be able pull up monster basses for fun in a couple of years without driving to the Lakes.

IF YOU EAT THESE FISH I WILL POINT AT YOU AND LAUGH AT YOU FOR EATING SEWER FISH.

Scugog Bass Vs Markham Bass.

Observation: Markham Bass have small mouths. Different lip structure. Maybe selected for due to over fishing with artificial lures of bass.

Just want to ask what is it that you're actually "fishing for" here in your statement?

Nothing, just some random members decided to somehow rate me and give me a bad rating. I could take time out and randomly assign bad ratings to other members on the forum if i desired, but I simply wouldn't do that.

BERCZY LARGEMOUTH BASS.

Different colours in Largemouth Bass in Markham. I find the Darker Green Black Bass put up the better fight.

BERCZY PARK LARGE MOUTH BASS 10.5 inches. (not my catch, was my fellow fisherman friends catch) To my current knowledge, this is the biggest one at Berzcy in 2015. But who knows, maybe more bigger fish caught when I was not there to witness.

Berczy Catfish with the broken mouth... this is hilarious because there was a broken line out of it's mouth. means it broke someone's line. So it pleases me to be the first to catch the fish...

Markham Large Sucker with a lot of chubs... generally before Bass season opens, there's lots of these around.

Note: Catfish, Carps, Suckers, Chub, and Panfish Sunfish and Crappie are all season. Thus you can fish anytime if you are itching for fishing.

For Bass and Trout, you must follow the ZONE16, guidelines. Make sure you don't mistake ZONE 17, because in Markham the bass season starts 1 week after ZONE 17.

BERCZY BLUE GILL - this is consider a large sunfish blue gill at Berzcy. Again, I do not advise you eat these fish. But it's your health and body, you can eat whatever you want if you so desire. BUT then it's again against the LAW. Maximum $5000 fine.

BERCZY WHITE CRAPPIE - DURING DAY TIME. - use small jig with worm works best. (Again not clean to eat, and against the law to consume.) They will take plastics too.

Berczy CRAYFISH - if you had a bite and couldn't set the hook... Don't get upset... may have been a crayfish instead...

jumbo chubs, they are fun to catch for me... so i assume they will be fun for kids, these swim in packs as well.

BERZCY JUMBO CHUB - These are the largest I've caught for chubs, the larger other fish would be suckers.
