Hey gents, my name is Mike Reansbury. I just moved to Simcoe ON, and am very excited to be closer to Big Creek as it was a 45 min drive before. I mainly fish for bass during the summer months and change focus to salmon and rainbow for the fall and spring. Further, the Lynn river is 300 metres from my new house. So as you can see I am in great fishing spirts and am excited to be a member of this forum.

Hey there guys and gals as you can see my name is Peter. I live in Stratford and I am in the hunt for a nice fight against a fresh salmon. I've been fishing the Bayfield and Maitland Rivers and had no luck yet. I would consider myself an all around fisher. I love to fish for Pike,Bass,Trout, Salmon, and walleye. I am now going to check out a bunch of the topics and posts on here and I hope to hear some great reports out there and hope to get some replys done too. Thanks

Hey All! My name is Blake. I live in Scarborough and love to fish allmost as much as hunting. I get to fish and see some nice bodies of water all over the place. I'm trying to find new places, or confirm places I see or drive by have good fishing. Its all about the casting even if I dont catch a fish! I'm trying to find info about places near GTA, and I found this site while looking for info about the Ganaraska.
Hope to be of value to this club, CHEERS!

New Member

Hello All,

I am a new member and just wanted to say "hello" to all...I have been fishing pretty much all my life. Started fishing in Spencer's Creek in Dundas as a 3 year old with my Gramps. The obsession has never left me to this day. Of all the species we are able to fish, I would say I have 3 favs. Here in Ontario, it would be the Muskie and the winter Steelie's. Outside of that, I have been pusuing the illusive Bonefish on my winter holidays for a decade now. Looking forward to trading some stories and knowledge here on this board. Take care and hope to chat with many of you over the next while.

Regards

Hi all,

Name is Joe, living in scarborough which is perfect for the type of fishing I prefer. I am a river fisherman, I love going after steelhead and joined this website to give and receive information regarding the runs. Of course pike is right behind steelhead.
I fish on a regular basis Rouge River and Duffins Creek. I have alot of success there. I do however enjoy Wilmot Creek, Ganaraska and out west the Bronte River.
I have been fishing all my life, I'm 28 and know there is so much more to learn, and frequently offer up some advice on the river as well as soak it all in when im out.
Anyway, love to talk about fishing and could put you to sleep talking.

Best of luck
JY

Hi my name is John. I live in Cambridge. In the summer months I usually go bass/walleye fishing in the Grand River near home. I am trying to find some steelie action. I am new at the whole salmon and steel phase. I've caight a few at Petro Park in Bronte. It was a blast. I hate carp lol as they eat to much food then distinguishing food supply for smaller fish(Bass/walleye the baby ones). I hope to make some fishing buddies on here as it does suck to fish alone. I own a pair of wader's so it's a bonus if someone would like to matchup for a day who also owns a pair.

hey, names dave. im from Wallaceburg, just a short drive from Mitchell's Bay. i usually go fishing with my 3 year old daughter (who lets me catch the fish and then says hi and bye to them) so im usually out fishing for panfish, but when i go out myself i will fish for whatever i can catch.

so are we still eligable for the gift. if not thats cool.

I'm Dave from toronto. My son Jake (age 12) and I are enthusiastic about any fishing opportunities. We enjoy fishing Lake of the Woods, Lake Nippissing, the French River and elswhere for Pickerel, Pike and bass. We also enjoy fly fishing lakes and rivers (the Grand, Bronte Creek, even the Humber). We have been fishing for salmon this fall and hope to find some advice on where and how to fish steelhead near Toronto from now through the spring.

Cheers,

Dave (and Jake)

Hey,
My name is John and I live in Burlington. I enjoy fishing, canoeing, camping, hunting ducks/geese, but my true love is wild turkey (the hunt.....not the drink). I fish during the summer/fall and like to get out a couple of times on the ice over the winter. I am 41yrs old (going on 29) married and have 2 daughters (6 & :D that love the outdoors almost as much as I do. I try to get my daughters out and involved as much as possible - ice fishing, open water fishing, scouting for turkey/goose and setting up blinds.

I enjoy most types of fishing but i'd have to say some of my most memorable times are from my canoe in one of those hard-to-get places with my UL stick (topwater) - always a good fight!

Hi John, welcome to the forum!

That's great to see you getting the kids involved in the outdoors at an early age. It would be great to see more parents doing it these days!

I have to ask, how did you come up with that username? :D
