Have had a lot more time for fly-fishing this fall, which means I've been able to see my fair share of Chinook in the tributaries. I headed out to a river this morning prospecting for steel, but it turns out I should have been panning for gold ;)

Nice little surprise to kick off the day! Immediately after I revived the buck and he was on his way, I packed up and headed home - there was no way my day was going to get any better than this. He was easily the most stunning brown trout (or any fish for that matter) I've ever brought to shore.

Thanks for smashing my stone-fly, Buck-O!

Tight-lines,

Cody

Gorgeous fish this time of year..
Great feeling to leave the river satisfied.
And you get to replay that catch every night till the next one.

I actually can't imagine a better catch in Ontario: big, beautiful brown like that, and on the fly! Congrats!
