Hope everyone can set a date. I can make it for jan 26-27th. I'm coming from Markham so if anyone is in the area an want to split gas. Just leave me a message.
yup hitting the 9th would be good. no secret there and lots of ice roads with gradual slope in (do not need 4x4) given there is sufficient ice this year. i think we will be able to drive on it this year.where is the short walk on cooks? usually american vehicles to the train tracks in gilford. i was thinking Innisfil beach. perch in closer, whities and trout out a bit (or a quick sled or truck ride over to fox island)
i had a great year last winter for lakers and whities. fished from late jan to close. took my boat out on march 14 to where we "had" been ice fishin and hit 14 whities in 3 hours once i found them. i saw a lot of bigger (20+ pound) trout compared to previous years last winter, and the trollers seemed to do well this summer, so lets hope for some ice!!!
. Forecast not looking good, but they've been wrong before...
When was that, do you recall??
LOLThe only job where you can screw up 365 days of the year and still be employed...
